Invitation letter

If you require a visa invitation letter, simply indicate this on your registration and the letter will automatically be generated for you. You will receive a letter in pdf format via email with original copy to follow. If you have already registered and did NOT indicate that you needed a letter, please send a request via email to lcws08 @ uic.edu with 'Visa invitation request' in the subject line.
Visa Questionnaire

The National Academies' Visa Questionnaire collects information on scientific mobility and the free flow of scientists. Data will be used for the purpose of tracking trends and to assist visa applicants whenever possible. Enter Visa Questionnaire here.
Please include "LCWS08" in the "Purpose of Visit" field on the questionnaire. The National Academies' International Visitors Office can inquire at the Department of State about the status of visa applications that have been pending for more than 20 days.
